Upcycle sweater

Love, Love, Love this.  Saw it in a magazine (better home and gardens?) last year and thought I must try it.  So I went to the thrift store and bought 2 old sweaters ($2.50 each)  and used the arms to put random size glass containers in that I had around the house then went to the hardware store to buy that foam insulation stuff you put around your hot water pipes ($2) and used it to make a wreath duck taping the ends together and wraped it in sweater and I still have enough sweater left over to make into pillow slipcovers that I will trim with the same red velvet ribbon.  When the candles shine through the material it is just georgous! And all for $7! Will post photos latter of pillows.

Christmas gifts

For Christmas this year I made my nieces aprons.  Zeph was not too happy to be my model as they are too small for her but you get the idea.  I so love the cupcake one! Cuteness!

Fall cards

I was going to start a card class this fall and these cards and treat bag were going to be part of the class.  Have decided to hold off till the new year.

Oil paintings.

These are oil paintings I did in a class with my mom about 3 years ago. Just getting them up now. I was actualy taking pictures of them to put on the boxes so I know what is in the box but thought I should add it to my blog as well. Sorry about the flash in the pond one. Scott still has to make me a barnwood frame for the other.

Cards for Friends

Simple design cards I recently made for friends of mine and a couple nefew Bdays.

Baby number flash cards

This was a quilt panel I cut up and put a foam in middle then sewed them together. They are flexible but hold their shape. This is a baby gift for a friend of mine.
